The Canucks fell 4-0 to the Bruins in the two teams other matchup earlier this season.

The Vancouver Canucks (37-16-6) will look to end their four-game losing streak on Saturday night as the Boston Bruins (37-16-6) come to town for the only time this regular season. Whichever team wins this game will finish the night at the top of the NHL standings, as both have 80 points this season. The Bruins are currently on a three-game winning streak against the Canucks, with Vancouver's last regulation win against Boston coming back in 2020 at Rogers Arena.

After being called out by Rick Tocchet, this is the perfect opportunity for Vancouver to bounce back and show they are Cup contenders. Just like the Canucks, the Bruins have struggled in their last ten games and are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Calgary Flames. Expect plenty of emotion as the two top teams in the NHL go head to head on Hockey Night In Canada.

Players to Watch

Arshdeep Bains

After two strong games on the road, Arshdeep Bains is set to play his first career game at Rogers Arena. The Surrey-born forward should have plenty of family and friends in attendance as he looks to register his first point in the NHL on Saturday night. Projected to play beside Elias Lindholm and Conor Garland, he should have plenty of opportunities in the offensive zone against the Bruins.

Brad Marchand

Brad Marchand has been a pain in Vancouver's side ever since he entered the league. He has scored the last three times these teams have met and has 12 goals in 21 regulation games all-time against the Canucks. Whether it is at even strength, on the power play or shorthanded, Vancouver needs to manage him; otherwise, he could once again find the back of the net.
