Currently on a four-game point streak, expect Hughes to step up and lead by example versus Colorado.
Cale Makar
The Canucks need to find a way to shut down Cale Makar, plain and simple. The Avalanche defender is coming off his first career hat trick and has feasted against Vancouver with 12 points in eight career games. Whether it is on the power play or at even strength, he is a game-breaker who can change the momentum of a game in an instant.
