For the final time this season, the Vancouver Canucks (48-22-8) take on the Arizona Coyotes (33-40-5), with the Canucks looking for the three-game season sweep. With a win, Vancouver would hit the 106-point mark on the season, which would rank third in franchise history. Tonight's game could also be a memorable one for Quinn Hughes as with two points, he would become just the third defenceman since 1994-95 to record 90 points in a season.
Despite Arizona already being eliminated from playoff contention, this may not be an easy game for Vancouver. Players on the Coyotes are looking to make an impact, especially those who do not have contracts going into the offseason. The Canucks need to ensure they keep their foot on the gas and, for the first time all season, try to score more than two goals against Arizona.
Players to Watch
J.T. Miller
After a three-point performance against the Vegas Golden Knights, J.T. Miller comes into this game needing one point to hit 400 for his Canucks career. If he can secure a point, he will become just the 14th player in franchise history to hit the milestone. Currently, on an eight-game point streak, it is safe to say that Miller will follow up his historic night on Monday by collecting another milestone on Wednesday.
Dylan Guenther
Dylan Guenther has a bright future in the NHL. In 40 games this season, he has 27 points while averaging 2.55 shots per game. He scored against the Canucks the last time these two teams met and should be one of the most dangerous Coyotes all night.
