Hughes has missed seven of the last ten games and has been dealing with a reported hernia injury, as well as some other ailments.

"Quinn had therapy again," said Tocchet. "Just the same thing. See how he is tomorrow, but he's doing kind of a two-a-day."
This season, Hughes has been the Canucks MVP. He has 60 points in 50 games and leads all skaters by 23 points. Hughes is also seven points away from 400 and could become the franchise's all-time points leader by a defenseman by the end of the season.
Vancouver continues their home stand on Friday when they take on Minnesota. This will be the second of third meetings between these two teams, with the Wild taking the first battle in overtime. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm PT from Rogers Arena.
