While the Vancouver Canucks don't start their training camp for a few weeks, OHL camps are set to begin in the next few days. This year, three Canucks prospects will be attending OHL training camps before making their way to Vancouver for the Young Stars Tournament. Here is a look at the three prospects projected to play in the OHL this season.

Vilmer Alriksson- Guelph Storm

The Guelph Storm and Vilmer Alriksson kick off their 2024 training camp on Wednesday with two straight days of scrimmages. Alriksson will be looking to build off a strong rookie campaign, which saw him post 33 points in 67 games. Listed at 6'6", 214 pounds, Alriksson should play a significant factor for Guelph as they look to make it past the first round of the OHL playoffs for the first time since 2019.

Anthony Romani-  North Bay Battalion

Anthony Romani and the North Bay Battalion kick off their training camp on Thursday, with scrimmages scheduled throughout the week and weekend. A sixth-round draft pick by the Canucks this past June, Romani is looking to build off a season which saw him post 111 points in 68 games. Not only is North Bay projected to go on a long playoff run this year, but Romani will be a player to watch ahead of the 2025 World Juniors, as he had a strong showing at Team Canada's Summer Showcase this summer.

Riley Patterson- Barrie Colts

Lastly, Riley Patterson and the Barrie Colts kick off their training camp on Tuesday morning. The 2024 fourth-round pick is headed into his second season with the Colts and should be able to improve on his 62 points in 68 total from last season. Another team expected to make some noise this year, Patterson has an opportunity to have a massive season with Barrie in 2024-25.
