The Vancouver Canucks made five roster moves on Wednesday.

The Vancouver Canucks made some roster moves ahead of their Wednesday night matchup against the Winnipeg Jets. The first was placing Filip Chytil on IR retroactive to February 18. Chytil is dealing with a facial fracture which occurred when he was hit in the face by a puck during practice.

The Canucks also activated Marco Rossi, Brock Boeser and Zeev Buium from IR. Boeser and Buium both were injured on January 25, while Rossi has not played since December 30. All three are expected to be in the lineup on Wednesday for Vancouver's first game back after the 2026 Winter Olympics

Finally, the Canucks assigned Jiří Patera to the Abbotsford Canucks. Patera was on the roster due to Kevin Lankinen being away at the Olympics. This season, has played 20 AHL games and posted a record of 8-8-4.
