The Vancouver Canucks will host the Seattle Kraken in Abbotsford on September 12 and 13 for the 2026 Prospect Showcase.
The Vancouver Canucks have released more details on their 2026 Prospect Showcase against the Seattle Kraken.
The two-game competition between Canucks and Kraken prospects will take place on September 12 at 4:00 pm PT and September 13 at 1:00 pm PT, with both matches taking place at the Rogers Forum in Abbotsford.
The two-game showcase arrangement between the Canucks and Kraken was first announced in January of 2025. This competition replaced the former Young Stars Classic that saw Vancouver’s prospects take on those from the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, and Winnipeg Jets.
Last year, Vancouver and Seattle’s prospects played in Seattle on September 13 and 14. Vancouver’s roster in 2025–26 included Jonathan Lekkerimäki, Braeden Cootes, Tom Willander, and more.
The Canucks’ full roster for this year’s Prospect Showcase will be revealed closer to.
Tickets for this year’s Prospect Showcase will go on sale on August 10 at 10:00 am PT via Ticketmaster.com. Season ticket holders for both Vancouver and Abbotsford are able to purchase tickets beginning now.
