In their simulation, EA Sports has the Vancouver Canucks defeating the Boston Bruins in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final.

EA Sports has released their annual Stanley Cup Playoffs simulation, with the Vancouver Canucks as this year's winner of the Stanley Cup. The simulation using NHL 24 has the Canucks and the Boston Bruins meeting in the Final, but this has Vancouver coming out on top in Game 7. Here is a look at the Canucks path to their first Stanely Cup, according to EA Sports.
Vancouver starts off their playoff run with a sweep of the Nashville Predators. From there, they defeat the Edmonton Oilers in six games before taking down the Colorado Avalanche in an epic seven-game series. Lastly, as mentioned, in a rematch of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final, the Canucks find a way to beat the Bruins in Game 7 at Rogers Arena, lifting the Cup for the first time in franchise history.
The actual Stanley Cup Playoffs begin for Vancouver on Sunday, April 21. Game 1 will be the first time Rogers Arena has hosted a playoff game since 2015, as the 2020 run took place in Edmonton as part of the bubble playoffs. The hope is this simulation can be more fact than fiction as Vancouver looks to live up to EA Sports' prediction this year.
