Vancouver Canucks fans hoping to head down to Nashville to watch their first-round series versus the Predators will need to come up with creative ways to get tickets. According to Ticketmaster, ticket sales are being restricted based on the State where people's credit card home address is located. Before fans try to purchase tickets for games at Bridgestone Arena, the following message appears:

"To better serve Nashville Predators fans, a restricted sales area has been implemented for this Nashville Predator game at the Bridgestone Arena. Sales will be restricted to residents of the Nashville Predators television viewing area - Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside the viewing area will be canceled without notice and refunds given. Ticket Transfers will be disabled for this event."

Restricting fans from purchasing tickets is not a new concept, as it happened in last year's playoffs. In 2023, the Florida Panthers restricted ticket sales to U.S. residents only in an effort to block Toronto Maple Leafs fans from getting into the building. While it did limit the amount of Maple Leafs fans in the arena, there were still plenty of Maple Leafs jerseys in the crowd during their second-round series.

While no dates have officially been released, the series is rumoured to be starting on Sunday, April 19. Fans in Vancouver have waited a long time to watch playoff hockey live, with the last postseason game played at Rogers Arena coming in 2015. Tickets are still on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
