The annual NHLPA Player Poll has been released, with Quinn Hughes being mentioned multiple times. While the Vancouver Canucks captain did not finish first in any category, he was featured in the top four in multiple categories. This year's player poll featured 639 NHL players who were surveyed on 15 hockey-related questions, including top positional players and most complete player.

The category Hughes finished the highest in was for best breakout passer in the game. Coming in second behind Cale Makar, Hughes received 10.62% of the vote. This season. Hughes currently ranks fourth in the NHL with 71 assists and has developed into one of, if not the best playmaker among defensemen in the league.

As for the second category, Hughes finished fourth, for which defencemen would players want on their team if they needed to win one game. Hughes finished behind Makar, Victor Hedman and Roman Josi, finishing with 4.04% of the vote. Based on Hughes' impact on the game this season, the percentage seems a bit low, especially considering he is currently the favourite to take home this year's Norris Trophy.

As for some of the other categories, Sidney Crosby was voted the most complete player, while Conor McDavid was voted best stick-handler. Marie-Philip Poulin was also voted the PWHL player you most enjoy watching, while over 11% of players voted they would like to see an NHL game played in Italy. The complete list can be found here.
