Vancouver Canucks players Quinn Hughes and Thatcher Demko were named as part of NHL 24's Team of the Season.
Hughes is the front-runner for the Norris Trophy and while his 86 points are impressive, his play in all areas of the ice has made him stand out from his competitors.
The first five players named in the TOTS are all the best players at each position. Connor Hellebuyck, Cale Makar, and the top three MVP candidates, Nikita Kucherov, Nathan MacKinnon, and Connor McDavid, join Hughes.
Week two had Thatcher Demko join the list of TOTS players.
Before his recent injury, Demko was in the running for the Vezina trophy. In 49 games this season, he has a record of 34-13-2, a .917 save %, and a 2.47 GAA.
His absence from the lineup has been felt, but he is expected to return for a few games before the playoffs begin.
