Vancouver Canucks center Elias Lindholm has been out with an injury and with a lot of uncertainty surrounding his timeline, reports today suggested that he could miss the rest of the regular season.
Lindholm has not played since March 23rd against the Calgary Flames due to an upper-body injury. There are a lot of questions surrounding the injury, as there isn't an exact moment that anyone knows when it happened.
The center's time with the Canucks hasn't been the greatest. In 22 games, he has five goals and four assists and is a -5.
There is speculation that his injury is around his hand/wrist area.
Andrei Kuzmenko was traded to the Flames in the deal. He's almost doubled Lindholm's Canucks goal total with nine.
The Canucks powerplay hasn't been able to produce in the same fashion it did before the All-Star break, and while that isn't directly Lindholm's fault, losing Kuzmenko might've disrupted the chemistry of PP1.
Whatever the case may be for Lindholm, there haven't been any reports of him missing game one of the postseason.
