Jonathan Marchessault posted his second hat trick of the season to help give the Vegas Golden Knights a 5-2 victory against the New York Rangers on Friday at Madison Square Garden.

Sheldon Rempal and Keegan Kolesar also scored, while Ivan Barbashev had three assists. 

Adin Hill made 36 saves in the winning effort, as the Golden Knights improved to 29-14-6 on the season.

The Golden Knights look to end the East coast road trip on the right track as they travel to Detroit for a game against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday.
