After missing six games with an illness, Alex Pietrangelo was back on the ice at practice for the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Golden Knights went 4-1-1 without Pietrangelo but will gladly welcome him back. He'll be a huge boost to a defence core that has stepped up their game in the last little bit.

The Golden Knights play their final game of their road trip tomorrow against the Minnesota Wild. Pietrangelo skating in a regular practice jersey is a good sign that he will be returning to the lineup. 

The 34-year-old defenseman's possible return gives Cassidy a tough decision to make. Hague and Hanifin have been excellent together, Theodore runs the top power-play unit, Whitecloud and McNabb are solid penalty-killers and Hutton has been playing great hockey. His decision of who to take out is a difficult one, to say the least. 

Having too many NHL-caliber defensemen is a problem that many teams wish they had.
