Brett Howden skated with the team in a red no-contact jersey, return imminent.

Vegas Golden Knights forward Brett Howden is nearing a return, as he skated in a red no-contact jersey at Saturday's skate prior to the team's game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Howden has missed the past seven games with an upper-body injury he sustained against the Nashville Predators on Feb. 20.

He's played in 54 games with 13 points (five goals, eight assists). 

Howden's place on the roster is unknown given the new acquisitions the Golden Knights have made. The moment he gets healthy, the Golden Knights will have a full complement of forward with NHL experience and are only getting stronger by the day.
