The Golden Knights placed Bjornfot on waivers to get under the roster limit.

The Panthers will likely use Bjornfot as a depth option. The Panthers have been loading up at the deadline in hopes of making another run to the Stanley Cup finals. The Swedish defenseman was likely the ninth defenseman on the Golden Knights depth chart.
