Ahead of Game 4, Vegas Golden Knights William Karlsson was absent from practice and Anthony Mantha was not part of any of the line rushes.

It's no surprise that Karlsson missed practice. He's missed the last three practices, two of them before Game 3.

Mantha and Karlsson were replaced by Michael Amadio and Pavel Dorofeyev. Mantha played in the first three games of the series but his performances have been lackluster. He was dealing with an injury before the playoffs started so removing him from Game 4 will allow fresher and healthier legs into the lineup.

Dorofeyev played in 47 games this season, scoring 13 goals and 24 points. He had great chemistry before the end of the regular season playing on Karlsson's wing but won't get into the lineup. During practice, he skated alongside Brett Howden and Amadio. With HC Bruce Cassidy confirming Karlsson will play, Amadio will draw in and play on his wing.

Before the conclusion of practice, Zach Whitecloud took a Jack Eichel shot off of the leg and exited practice. He didn't return but will play tonight.

Tomas Hertl was back skating with Mark Stone and Chandler Stephenson. The line hasn't had too much success at 5v5 so far but as the series goes along they may find their chemistry.

Nicolas Hague remains out after suffering an injury in Game 1.
