Plus injury updates regarding Shea Theodore, Jack Eichel and William Karlsson.

New York Rangers goalie Jonathan Quick will make his first trip back to Vegas since winning the Stanley Cup in June.

Quick, who will serve as the backup to Igor Shesterkin against the Golden Knights, is 9-3-2 with a 2.49 goals-against average and .912 save percentage.

Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said he plans on meeting with Quick sometime after the game.

“He brought was a battle level in practice. He engaged with guys at that time of the year. It’s the playoffs, you're not practicing all the time," Cassidy said. "He brought experience to the locker room. He won two cups in L.A., so he's been through the ups and downs. He did it in a different chair as a starting goaltender. Credit to him to be able to help Adin [Hill] with whatever he needed along the way once the playoffs started. Before the playoffs, he helped us get in and helped us solidify first place and the top spot in the Western Conference."

Injuries Update

Michael Amadio will be out of the lineup against the Rangers with an upper-body injury.

As for the other Golden Knight who are on injured reserve, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 of Edmonton reported a few Golden Knights are expected back after the NHL All-Star Break.

He reports that Jack Eichel will take four to six weeks with a knee injury. Hill should return shortly, and that Shea Theodore is about three to four weeks away.

As for William Karlsson, he's expected back right after the All-Star break.

If these timelines prove to be accurate, the Golden Knights will get healthy right in time for a playoff run.
