Mark Stone sustained injury in second period of 5-3 loss to Nashville

DailyFaceoff’s Frank Seravalli is reporting that Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone is dealing with a lacerated spleen.
Stone sustained the injury in the second period of the Golden Knights 5-3 loss to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday.
Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said Stone is out “week to week” and his timetable to return is unknown.
Stone leads the Golden Knights in points with 53 points (16 goals, 37 assists) in 56 games.
"I don't have an idea on his return date. The medical team will update us as we go along," Cassidy said. "We are going to miss him obviously, but we have got to focus on the task at hand now."
