Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson recorded his 400th career NHL point with a goal against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Karlsson's 400th point was a game-tying goal in the first period and it came in his 665th NHL game. A wicked wrist shot from the top of the circle beat Blue Jackets goaltender Danil Tarasov.
Karlsson started his career with the Anaheim Ducks where he scored just three points. He was then traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets where he played his next 165 games and scored 47 points. When the Golden Knights selected him in the expansion draft, Karlsson's career changed.
Karlsson has now played 481 games with the Golden Knights. In those 481 games, he's scored 143 goals and 349 points.
Karlsson's impact on the Golden Knights is unquestionable. He scored 43 goals in his first season with the team and played a massive role in both runs to the Stanley Cup finals. His 22 goals this season are the second most on the team and his 43 points are the fourth most.
