Guelph has filled an import spot with Bartovic, who was traded to the team last month from Brantford.
It's been a full-court press from the Guelph Storm in terms of importing talent from a ton of different avenues ahead of the team hosting the Memorial Cup next summer.
The newest addition is an import signing, with Adrien Bartovic joining the team ahead of the big season.
Bartovic, 19, was recently acquired by Guelph in a trade with Brantford. The Czech forward played most of last season with Bílí Tygři Liberec's U20s in his native country, but also appeared in 17 games on loan in the Slovak league with Vlci Zilina.
The Pardubice native has been a feature of a few Czech youth national teams over the years, including playing eight games with the U20s last season.
Bartovic was the 42nd overall selection by the Bulldogs in the 2024 CHL import draft, but never signed with the team. Now, alongside fellow Czech Vladimir Dravecky who was part of the same trade, he'll play as an import on Guelph.
The Storm recently traded up and used the fourth overall pick in the 2026 import draft on Slovak star Timothy Kazda. It seems likely he'll end up being the third and final import on this team, and would likely complete the top-nine forward group as well.
