Dylan Edwards' 2OT winner was the difference as the Kitchener Rangers take a 3-0 series lead over the Barrie Colts in the OHL championship series.

Sometimes, the margins in a hockey game can be so close.

In the 2026 OHL championship series, the Kitchener Rangers have been winning the moments, and finding goals at the right time to put them over the edge.

They're now one win away from the J. Ross Robertson Cup. Here's all the action from Sunday's game three.

As the series has shifted to Barrie, the results haven't.

It was the Rangers who kept their momentum from the first two games and started the third off hot, with Sam O'Reilly having the puck in the net early. However, it was waved off due to a high stick, and the game stayed knotted at zero.

The league MVP wouldn't be denied, though, as he found the net yet again with 74 seconds remaining in the first. That gave Kitchener a 1-0 lead to take into the first intermission.

The second saw plenty of chances but no goals, and both teams entered the third with the final score still in play.

After the first half of the third went without anything, the floodgates opened. Emil Hemming scored off a one-timer set up by Kashawn Aitcheson, which tied the game at one.

Just 46 seconds later, Carson Campbell beat Ben Hrebik, giving the Rangers the lead right back. But, 36 seconds after that, Barrie would draw level again through Will Schneid. All of a sudden, the goals were flowing and both teams felt they could win the game.

The game calmed down a bit after that, before Dylan Edwards put the visitors on top again with just 1:12 to go in the third.

Just like game two, though, Barrie wouldn't go down easily. Once again, with time ticking down, it was Aitcheson who tied the game with the goalie pulled, with the Colts' captain clutching up to once again send the game to overtime.

The first extra frame would come come and go, and 5:24 into the second OT, it was Edwards again scoring a big goal for the Rangers. He's seemingly done it all postseason, and this is his biggest one yet.

That goal gave Edwards four (2+2) points in the contest, while O'Reilly had three (1+2) of his own. Christian Kirsch made 36 saves to pick up the win, his 15th of the playoffs.

Kitchener now takes a true stranglehold in the series, with Barrie now in must-win mode at home in Tuesday's game four to keep their season alive.

The J. Ross Robertson Cup will be in the building.
