The Islanders take down the Eagles with a final score of 4-3, with the former Cape Breton netminder Nicolas Ruccia picking up the win for Charlottetown. Overage import LW Egor Goriunov played spoiler with two goals and an assist, including the game winning goal with just four seconds left in the game. Right winger Alexis Michaud also had himself a night, scoring a goal and two assists.
As for the Eagles, the team received strong performances from New Jersey Devils prospect RW Cam Squires (1+1) and recent add C Joseph Henneberry (1+2).

In front of a season highest crowd of 11,816 people, 'Les Remps' completely decimate the Sherbrooke Phoenix. Recent add Thomas Auger picked up two goals in the affair, bringing his totals to five points (4+1) over three games with the team so far. Quebec's 2025 NHL Draft eligibles shined bright as well, with goaltender Louis-Antoine Denault picking up the 24-save shutout and centerman Nathan Quinn tallying a goal and an assist.

It is important to note that the game between the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and the Gatineau Olympiques ended with just under three minutes left in the third due to a medical emergency. Gatineau defenseman Justin Blais had to be carried out on stretcher after falling head-first on the ice during a skirmish.
Thankfully, the Olympiques provided an update last night that Blais had been taken to a local hospital for further tests and that he is alert and responsive.
As for the less important storylines.
Canes prospect RW Justin Poirier tallied four goals and two assists, bringing his season stats to 26 points (14+12) across 14 games -- tied for first in points in the league. Meanwhile, Devils prospect C Matyas Melovsky scored two goals and three assists. Other notables with big games from Baie-Comeau include LW Louis-Charles Plourde (1+2) and Rangers prospect LW Raoul Boilard (0+2).
As for the Olympiques, Isiah Parent had himself a multi-point night with (1+1).

Kazakh right winger Korney Korneyev (1+1) emerged as the overtime hero for the Saguenéens as they took down the Drummondville Voltigeurs. Raphael Precourt had a strong net between the pipes stopping 28 of 30 of Drummondville's shots. Meanwhile draft re-entry candidate centerman Thomas Desruisseaux also notched a goal and an assist.
Voltigeurs captain C Luke Woodworth continues his goal streak to five goals over four games, as he scores a goal and an assist -- joining Justin Poirier for the top spot on the points leaderboard with 26 (5+21).
