The 17-year-old forward will add some offensive skill to the Charlottetown attack.
Import signings are continuing to file in as QMJHL teams fill out their rosters as the summer rolls along.
On Wednesday, it was the Charlottetown Islanders announcing a new addition, with Ukrainian forward Oleksii Kryvonos putting pen to paper.
Kryvonos, 17, was a third-round pick in this summer's import draft. He played his 2025-26 season with HK Nitra's U20 team in the Slovak system, scoring 18 goals and 14 assists in 43 games.
The 5-foot-10 forward has bounced around a fair bit already throughout his youth career, playing his U16 hockey in Finland in the Ässat system, while also playing in Slovakia with HK Levice and HO Hamikovo prior to that.
Kryvonos has also represented Ukraine at the European Youth Olympic Festival.
With Charlottetown in the middle of what looks to be an absolutely stacked Maritime division, points will be at a premium for everyone. They'll hope their new import signing can provide some offence heading into next season.
