While many OHL, WHL and QMJHL overagers have committed to NCAA programs down south, the University of Moncton was able to snipe a commitment from one of Baie-Comeau's star players.

Jules Boilard, brother of teammate and New York Rangers prospect Raoul Boilard, is heading furhter east joining les Aigles Bleus for the 2025-26 season.

The 6-foot-1 winger is coming off a 36 point season (16+20) across 51 games, wrapping up his two season QMJHL career -- spanning 118 games and accumulating 86 points (34+52).

Boilard isn't the only QMJHL player to join him as former Rimouski Océanic blueliner Charles Cote will also make the jump.

Cote, 20, played most of the season in the BCHL this season after playing across 151 games and scoring 45 points (9+36) in the QMJHL from 2020-2024.
