Everett, Prince Albert, Medicine Hat & Penticton Named To 2025-26 CHL Top-10 Week 24 Rankings

Every week, the CHL releases a list of the top-10 teams in the league. Throughout the season, we at The Hockey News will be keeping track of which WHL teams are in the rankings, as well as who finishes the year ranked highest. Here is a look at the four WHL teams that made the Week 24 rankings.  

Everett Silvertips - 1st

The Everett Silvertips remain the undisputed No. 1 team in Canada for a sixth consecutive week. By sweeping a home-and-home set against the Portland Winterhawks (5-2 and 4-2), Everett improved their record to a staggering 52-7-2-1. 

Prince Albert Raiders - 4th

Holding firm at No. 4, the Prince Albert Raiders reached the 100-point plateau this week. The Raiders continue to be the most consistent threat to Everett's supremacy, led by high-scoring defensemen.  Prince Albert has collected 17 of a possible 20 points over their last 10 games (8-1-0-1).

Medicine Hat Tigers - 5th

Captain Bryce Pickford recorded an explosive eight-point week, including his third hat-trick of the season. With 43 goals, Pickford has the most goals by a WHL defenseman in the last 30 years.  

Penticton Vees - 8th

In their inaugural WHL season, the Penticton Vees remain at No. 8. The Vees recently set a new WHL expansion record for wins and currently sit atop the B.C. Division standings with 61 games played.
