    The San Jose Sharks have selected Joshua Ravensbergen 30thth overall in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old was the ninth WHLer selected and the first goaltender drafted. One of the few righ-handed catching goalies in the league today, Ravensbergen took the starting job in Prince George in just his second season in the WHL.

    Over 55 appearances in 2024-25, the Vancouver product posted a 3.00 goals against average and a .901 save percentage. As the first WHL goaltender selected this year, Ravensbergen shows promise of landing an NHL job in the future.
