Welcome to this edition of the 2025 WHL Prospect Pools. Throughout the 2025 off-season, we will be taking a look at current or recently graduated WHLers who have either been drafted or signed by NHL clubs. Today's organization is the Tampa Bay Lightning, which has two WHLers in its prospect pool.

The Lightning have two intriguing WHL prospects in their system. In 2024, Tampa Bay drafted Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender Harrison Meneghin, while this past June, they selected Prince George Cougars forward Aiden Foster. The Lightning also have some notable WHL alumni in their organization, including Brayden Point, Brandon Hagel and Oliver Bjorkstrand.
Starting with Meneghin, he had a season to remember. The 20-year-old led the Tigers to the Memorial Cup Final and was named MVP of the 2025 WHL Playoffs. Listed at 6'4", 174 lbs, Meneghin is scheduled to begin his pro career in 2025-26.
As for Foster, he recently wrapped up his second season in the WHL. The 18-year-old produced 20 points in 68 games while also recording 136 penalty minutes. Listed at 6'2", 183 lbs, Foster is projected to be a key piece of Prince George's roster next year.
