Maine will gain offense in an eight rookie recruiting class, on top of four NCAA transfers for next season. Here's a look at Maine's women's hockey recruiting class for 2023-2024.

Maine has a large incoming cohort of athletes; some via transfers, and others as true rookies. Their transfer crop includes Jamie Grinder (Ohio State), Adriana Van de Leest (Bemidji State), and Julia Bachetti (St. Cloud State). Maine is also adding Ann-Frédérique Guay, one of the top NCAA DIII scorers in the nation last year.
Their rookie crop however, is large and filled with talented players who could Maine gain ground on elite programs in the east. In particular, Maine has added players with offensive upside in their 2023-2024 women's hockey recruiting class.
Samantha Morrison, F, 2005 - The top scoring threat in Nova Scotia this year playing for the Cape Breton Lynx recording 22 goals and 37 points in only 17 games. Her production earned Morrison a tryout for Canada's national U-18 team, and she was Nova Scotia's leading scorer at the Canada Games, helping the province win a historic silver medal. At the tournament Morrison recorded four goals and six points in six games.
Bria Holm, F, 2004 - The captain and leading scorer for Moorehead High in Minnesota. Holm led Moorehead with 25 goals and 48 points in 31 games this season. Maine has struggled to score in recent years, and their top trio of recruits could have an immediate impact on that, including Holm.
Mikayla Boarder, F, 2004 - Along with Morrison and Holm, Boarder has been a four year athlete at Shawnigan School in British Columbia. Boarder was the top scorer in the CSSHL, a league featuring dozens of NCAA DI commits and a handful of Canadian U-18 national team players, recording 60 points in 30 games.
Other 2023-2024 recruits include Raegan Wurm, Lila Shea, Sophia Johnson, Ashley Kokavec, and Lily Fetch.
