Czechia's women's national team roster is set for the first stop this season of the Women's Euro Hockey Tour in Kloten, Switzerland.
Czechia is bringing together a mix of veterans and youth on their national team roster for the first stop of the Women's Euro Hockey Tour this season.
There will be some key absences for the August stop, which drops the puck August 19 in Kloten, Switzerland. Among those are Kristýna Kaltounková, Kateřina Mrázová, Denisa Křížová, Andrea Trnková, Dominika Lásková, and Michaela Hesová, who were all Olympians for Czechia at the 2026 Games in Milan.
In net, veteran Klára Peslarová (Brynäs) is back, as is Julie Pejšová (Kobra Praha) who served as Czechia third goalie in Milan. They'll be joined by NCAA netminder Aneta Šenková (Clarkson University).
On the blueline Sára Čajanová (Brynäs), Noemi Neubauerová (Seattle Torrent), Aneta Tejralová (Seattle Torrent), Daniela Pejšová (San Jose), and Klára Seroiszková (HC Davos Ladies) who represented their nation at the Olympics will be joined by newcomers Ellen Jarabková (MoDo) and Aneta Paroubková (Stoney Creek Sabres). Paroubková was named Czech Junior Women's Player of the Year this season, while the 2009 born Jarabková who made the move to the SDHL this season is one to watch as a prospect to potentially come to North America at the NCAA level.
Up front, Czechia is welcoming a mix of youth and professional veterans as well. Their PWHL forwards at the event will include Tereza Vanišová (Vancouver Goldeneyes), Tereza Pištěková (Ottawa Charge), Natálie Mlýnková (San Jose), and Klára Hymlárová (Minnesota Frost) along with veterans Michaela Pejzlová (Ambri-Piotta) and Vendula Přibylová (Linköping). NCAA players Julie Jebousková (Maine), Anežka Čabelová (Boston University), Barbora Juříčková (St. Lawrence), Adéla Šapovalivová (Wisconsin), and Tereza Plosová (Minnesota) are also on the roster, as are teenagers Lucie Šindelářová (Skelleftea) and Tereza Gildainová (Lovell Academy). Gildainová is committed to play NCAA hockey for Cornell.
The event will also be Brian Idalski's first stint behind the bench with Czechia after being named head coach this offsesaon.
Czechia opens against Finland on August 19, before facing Sweden August 21, and the Olympic bronze medalists and hosts Switzerland on August 22.
