Marner Extension Questions

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced the have recalled goaltender Dennis Hildeby from the Toronto Marlies.

The 23-year-old has a 1-1 record with a .869 SP and 4.03 GAA in two games with the Leafs and a 2-2-4 record with a .897 SP and 2.73 GAA with the Marlies this season.

Hildeby participated in the AHL All-Star Game last season during what was a great first full season in North America, recording a 21-11-7 record with a .913 SP.

The Maple Leafs play the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday and the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday so we could see Hildeby make his third career NHL start.

The Marlies have received stellar goaltending this season from the currently injured Matt Murray and rookie Artur Akhtyamov, who is quickly making himself a viable call-up option with a 8-0-1 record and .929 SP.

The Marlies play back-to-back Saturday and Sunday against the Bakersfield Condors
