Tonight could be the final game of the 2025-26 NHL season, as the Carolina Hurricanes have the opportunity to close out the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6 on the road.

The Carolina Hurricanes will look to replicate what the New York Knicks did last night.

The Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs on the road to close out the NBA Finals and take home the coveted Larry O’Brien Trophy. Tonight, the Hurricanes will have the opportunity to close out the NHL Stanley Cup final on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights

The Stanley Cup final has been electric, with each game keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Whether it’s back-and-forth goal-scoring affairs or near-impossible comebacks, the first five games of this series have had everything, and Game 6 is sure to be more of the same.

Following Game 5, Golden Knights coach John Tortorella was asked if he could look to Adin Hill in relief of Carter Hart. His response was to bash the question, claiming it was “the dumbest question he’s ever heard.”

Yesterday, Tortorella doubled down on his confidence in Hart, as he’ll duel Brandon Bussi, the projected starter in Game 6.

Here are the latest Stanley Cup final odds from BetMGM, new stories and the top scorers of the playoffs.
