The Boston Bruins have re-signed one of their prospects.

The Boston Bruins have re-signed forward Marc McLaughlin to a one-year, two-way contract. At the NHL level, he will carry a $775,000 cap hit.
McLaughlin, 24, spent the entirety of this past season in the AHL with the Providence Bruins. In 68 games as an alternate captain for the club, the North Billerica, Massachusetts native recorded eight goals and 14 points. He also appeared in one NHL for Boston in 2023-24 and scored a goal.
McLaughlin should continue to be a key forward down in Providence next season. In addition, he will once again be a solid call-up option for the Bruins when injuries arise.

In 14 career NHL games over three seasons with the Bruins, McLaughlin has four goals, 10 penalty minutes, and a minus-1 rating.
