The Boston Bruins have recalled an interesting forward from Providence.

The Boston Bruins have announced that forward Jeffrey Viel has been recalled from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Providence Bruins.
Viel, 27, has played in 14 games this season with Providence, where he has two goals, two assists, and 39 penalty minutes. Viel is known for his gritty style of play and toughness, so he should provide the Bruins with more bite while with the NHL squad.
Viel last played in the NHL during the 2022-23 season with the San Jose Sharks. In four games that season, he had zero points and six hits. In 49 career NHL games over three seasons, he has three goals, two assists, 112 hits, and 139 penalty minutes.
