The Boston Bruins picked up a massive 2-1 win over the Florida Panthers in Game 5. With it, they have kept their season alive and now have the chance to tie the series with a win at TD Garden for Game 6.
While the Bruins won Game 5, Jim Montgomery wasn't happy the entire game. After Mason Lohrei was given a hooking penalty in the second period, Montgomery showed his frustration in a comical way.

Montgomery felt that Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen dove on the play, and he let the officials know it. The Bruins' bench boss made diving gestures and then jumped back. He also, of course, was barking at the referees while doing so.
Following the game, Montgomery explained his reactions to reporters:
"I just think in the league, in general, the embellishment is going up. Players are getting better and better at grabbing their heads, snapping their heads back. Getting hooked and going with the hook and jumping back."
“Used to be when I was growing up, Billy Barber was the guy that was known the best for it, and [he] drew a lot of penalties because of it. And I just think it makes it hard on the refs, you know? Because you don’t know if a guy was really high-stuck or if he’s just trying to get a call.”
The Bruins have certainly been on the wrong side of some questionable calls during this series, so it is honestly not surprising that Montgomery expressed some anger during Game 5. The way he certainly grabbed the attention of hockey fans.
