The Boston Bruins have placed Michael DiPietro, Vinni Lettieri, and Jordan Oesterle on waivers.

With the Bruins claiming goaltender Jiri Patera on waivers, it is not too surprising to see DiPietro placed on waivers. In 30 appearances last season for the Providence Bruins, DiPietro posted an 18-9-2 record, a .918 save percentage, and a 2.51 goals-against average.

Lettieri was acquired by the Bruins during the off-season from the Minnesota Wild in the Jakub Lauko trade. The 29-year-old appeared in 46 games last season with the Minnesota Wild, posting five goals and nine points. He also had eight points in 10 games with the Iowa Wild.

The Bruins signed Oesterle to a two-year, two-way contract during this summer. Oesterle appeared in 22 games last season with the Calgary Flames, posting two assists and a minus-6 rating. He also had 19 points in 30 contests with the Calgary Wranglers.
