The Boston Bruins will be facing off against the Buffalo Sabres on March 17. Their goal will be to bounce back after losing each of their last two games in an ugly fashion.
The Bruins' last matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning was particularly bad, though. They notably did not record a single shot on goal during the second period and fell by a 6-2 final score to the Bolts.
While the Bruins suffered one of their worst losses of the season against the Lightning, they are not expected to make changes to their forward lines and defense pairing against the Sabres.
They are making a switch in goal, however, as Joonas Korpisalo will be between the pipes for the Bruins against Buffalo. This is after Jeremy Swayman allowed eight goals on 53 shots in the Bruins' last two matchups.
Korpisalo's last appearance was on March 13 against the Ottawa Senators, where he stopped 15 out of 16 shots in relief.
