The Bruins have recalled forward Jayson Megna from the Providence Bruins. In a corresponding move, Johnny Beecher has been loaned back to Providence.
Megna, 34, signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Bruins this offseason. Since then, he has spent all of this campaign down in Providence, posting 18 goals and 51 points in 67 games. Overall, it has been a good season for the veteran, and he's getting a chance on Boston's roster because of it.

Beecher, 23, has split this season between the NHL and AHL. With the Bruins, the 2019 first-round pick has recorded seven goals, 10 points, and 112 hits in 52 games. Overall, the youngster has shown promise but has also cooled off lately, posting zero points over his last six games.
