David Pastrnak got under Sidney Crosby's skin at the end of the Bruins-Penguins matchup.

David Pastrnak got under Sidney Crosby's skin at the end of the Bruins-Penguins matchup.

The Boston Bruins defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins by a 6-4 final score on Saturday (April 13). This was a notable win for the Bruins, as it helped them reclaim the top spot from the Florida Panthers in the Atlantic Division standings.

At the end of this matchup, tempers notably flared between two of the game's best forwards. With the contest just about to end, David Pastrnak took a slapshot on Tristan Jarry while on a breakaway. This angered Sidney Crosby, and he barked at Pastrnak after the buzzer went off. Pastrnak also heard it from the Penguins' bench.

ESPN/ABC broadcaster Ray Ferraro shared that Pastrnak told Crosby he wasn't trying to score, while the Penguins superstar asked what the point of No. 88 taking a slapshot was.

The Bruins and Penguins will not face each other for the rest of the regular season, so we will need to wait a good chunk of time to see Crosby and Pastrnak play one another again. Once they do, it will be interesting to see if Crosby's frustration carries over to the matchup.
