This Bruins rookie is back in the NHL.
The Boston Bruins have made a roster move ahead of their matchup against the St. Louis Blues, recalling rookie forward Johnny Beecher from the AHL.
Beecher, 22, was assigned by Boston to the Providence Bruins back in January. Following his demotion, he had four goals, eight points, and a plus-9 rating in 17 games. Now, he will look to make an impact with Boston again.
Beecher started the season with the NHL squad after an impressive training camp. In 39 games with Boston this season, he has five goals, two assists, 89 hits, and a minus-6 rating. He was also pretty effective at the dot, winning 53.9% of his faceoffs.

With Beecher back at the NHL level, he will provide the Bruins with another option for their bottom six moving forward.
