We now have confirmation of who the Bruins' starting goalie for Game 5 against the Maple Leafs will be.

Jake DeBrusk and Charlie Coyle were The Hockey News picks for the mid-season Selke Trophy.

The Boston Bruins are gearing up for a crucial Game 5 matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Bruins will move on to the second round with a victory, and they have a grand opportunity being back at home.

Leading up to Game 5, there were naturally some questions about who the Bruins' starting goalie for the matchup would be. This is understandable, as the Bruins used a goalie rotation all regular season. However, due to Jeremy Swayman's outstanding play this postseason, he got back-to-back starts in Games 3 and 4.

Now, we now have confirmation that Swayman will be playing in his third straight game. This decision by the Bruins is not shocking in the slightest, as the Alaska native has been nothing but sensational against the Maple Leafs this series.

Swayman is undefeated in his three starts against the Leafs this series thus far, posting a 1.34 GAA and a .956 GAA. As a result, going with the red-hot Swayman is a no-brainer for Boston. Let's see how the star goaltender performs from here and if he can lead the Bruins to the second round by the end of the night.
