

The Boston Bruins have signed forward Tyler Pitlick to a one-year, two-way contract for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. At the NHL level, the veteran forward will carry a $775,000 cap hit.
This season, Pitlick had been playing with the Providence Bruins on an AHL contract. In 43 games with the AHL squad, he has 16 goals, 33 points, and a plus-17 rating Overall, he has played quite well with Providence, and he has now earned this NHL deal with Boston because of it.
In 420 career NHL games over 10 seasons split between the Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars, Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and New York Rangers, Pitlick has 56 goals, 109 points, and 836 hits. It will be interesting to see how much he improves upon these career stats with the Bruins from here.
