The Boston Bruins are gearing up for a big matchup against the Washington Capitals on Monday night (April 15). With a win, the Bruins would clinch the Atlantic Division. Meanwhile, the Capitals are fighting for their playoff lives, so they are expected to come out firing.
In the Bruins' last game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, they secured a 6-4 win. Jake DeBrusk played a role in the victory, scoring his first goal since March 21 against the New York Rangers. Along with that, it put an end to his previous seven-game pointless streak.

After finally ending his long cold streak, DeBrusk's goal from here will be to build on it. With the playoffs right around the corner, they need No. 74 to be playing his best hockey. When he's hot, he's a significant part of their top six, and the Bruins are a much tougher team to go up against because of it.
The 2023-24 season has been a shaky one for DeBrusk due to his consistency issues, but he still has decent numbers. In 78 games, the Edmonton native has 19 goals, 40 points, and a plus-7 rating. Here's to hoping that he finishes the regular season on a high note and is the game-changing forward that he can be once the playoffs are here.
