Things just keep getting worse for the Bruins.

Jake DeBrusk and Charlie Coyle were The Hockey News picks for the mid-season Selke Trophy.

When it rains, it pours.

The Boston Bruins are played another brutal game against the Florida Panthers in Game 3. The Panthers have outclassed them, defeating them by a 6-2 final score. With it, they trail the Panthers 2-1 in the series. However,, more bad news has come their way.

The Bruins announced that Brad Marchand would unlikely return for the rest of Game 3 due to an upper-body injury. He did not play another shift after this announcement.

Marchand noticeably got shaken up after taking a hard hit from Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett in the first period. The superstar forward played the entirety of the first and second periods.

This is an immensely concerning update, and it will be interesting to see just how severe Marchand's injury is. If the Bruins lose Marchand for an extended period of time, it will be brutal for them against an immensely deep Panthers club.
