This former Bruin finished the season with a spectacular performance.
Former Boston Bruins forward Frank Vatrano had a year to remember for the Anaheim Ducks. The Massachusetts native, who always had plenty of potential, took his offense to a whole new level in 2023-24 and was named to his first career All-Star Game because of it.
The Anaheim Ducks played their final game of the season on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights. Fittingly, Vatrano put together a masterful performance in the club's season finale, as he recorded a hat trick in the Ducks' 4-1 over the reigning Stanley Cup champs.
After this excellent performance, Vatrano ended his season with 37 goals, 23 assists, and 60 points — all career highs. He also made a significant impact with his physicality, posting a career-best 156 hits.
It is nice to see Vatrano thriving in Anaheim. However, after generating a plethora of trade interest at the deadline, there is some expectation that this will continue over the summer. If they do listen to offers for him, Boston should consider bringing him back, as he not only is an impactful sniper but also makes a difference with his grit.

In 108 games with the Bruins over three seasons, Vatrano had 20 goals and 31 points.
