This former Boston Bruins star left a good first impression with his new team.

During the off-season, the Boston Bruins traded star goalie Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for a 2024 first-round pick (Dean Letourneau), Joonas Korpisalo, and Mark Kastelic. Ullmark is now expected to give the Senators a massive boost between the pipes, which they desperately need to become a playoff team again.
Ullmark made his pre-season debut for the Senators last night (Sept. 26), and it went sensationally for the 2023 Vezina Trophy winner. The 31-year-old's first appearance could not have gone much better, as he stopped 28 out of 29 shots he faced from the Buffalo Sabres.

Ullmark also made some incredible saves in the process, like this beauty:
The Senators have dealt with serious goaltending issues for multiple years now, and it's a significant reason why they have yet to get back into the playoffs. However, if Ullmark ends up being the goalie he was for the Bruins in Ottawa, the Senators could be a real threat for a playoff spot in 2024-25.
With Swayman still unsigned, the loss of Ullmark is undoubtedly being felt in Boston.
