
This former Boston Bruins forward has found a new home.

Former Boston Bruins forward Brett Ritchie is on the move, as he has signed a one-year deal with HK Nitra of the Slovak Extraliga.
Ritchie, 31, spent his past season with Minsk Dynamo of the KHL, where he had two goals and an assist in 12 games.
Ritchie spent the 2019-20 season with the Bruins. In 27 games with the Original Six club, the 6-foot-4 winger had two goals, six points, and 89 hits. He also appeared in 12 games for the Providence Bruins that season, recording two goals and four points.

Ritchie's final season in the NHL was back in 2022-23. In 50 games split between the Calgary Flames and Arizona Coyotes, he had eight goals and 13 points.
In 391 career NHL games over nine seasons split with the Dallas Stars, Bruins, Flames, and Coyotes, Ritchie had 50 goals, 85 points, and 911 hits.
