Former Boston Bruins goalie Dan Vladar is done for the season, as the Calgary Flames announced today (March 21) that he will have season-ending hip surgery. 

Vladar, 26, appeared in 20 games this season with the Flames, posting an 8-9-2 record, a 3.62 goals-against average (GAA), and a .882 save percentage (SV%). His last appearance came on March 12 against the Colorado Avalanche, where he allowed six goals on 35 shots.

The Bruins selected Vladar with the 75th overall pick of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He appeared in five regular-season games with the Bruins during the 2020-21 season, posting a 2-2-1 record, a 3.40 GAA, and a .886 SV%. Vladar's time in Boston came to an end during the 2021 NHL Offseason when he was traded to the Flames for a 2022 third-round pick.
