The Bruins should have this youngster on their radar.
The Boston Bruins have never been shy about signing NCAA free agents. This season has been more of the same, as they have already added defenseman Drew Bavaro and goaltender Ryan Bischel to their prospect pool. However, they should not be done adding college free agents yet.
Quinnipiac's Collin Graf is another college player whom the Bruins should be targeting once his season is over. The 21-year-old forward is dominating college hockey and has the tools to become an impactful NHL forward.
Graf has been genuinely outstanding since transferring from Union College to Quinnipiac. After posting 21 goals and 59 points in 41 games last season, he has 22 goals and 48 points in 31 games this campaign. His 107 points over the last two seasons is the most out of any player in the NCAA.
With the Bruins needing more depth down the middle, taking a shot on a promising young prospect like Graf certainly should be considered. Along with that, he offers versatility, as he is also able to play the wing. He also has been praised for his defensive play.
Graf also has connections to Massachusetts. He was born in Lincoln and played with the Boston Junior Bruins for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.
