David Pastrnak is clearly not afraid to drop the gloves.

The Boston Bruins suffered a deflating 6-1 loss to the Florida Panthers in Game 2. It was a poor showing, and the Bruins must bounce back in Game 3.

While the Bruins had a bad night, superstar David Pastrnak stepped up near the end of the matchup. The 2014 first-round pick shockingly dropped the gloves with Florida Panthers agitator Matthew Tkachuk.

Pastrnak is not a fighter, while Tkachuk has plenty of experience dropping the gloves. While Pastrnak did not win the tilt, he held his own and showed great courage going up against one of the NHL's grittiest players.

Following the game, Pastrnak discussed his fight with Tkachuk and dropped one of the best quotes of the Bruins' postseason thus far: "I'm not afraid of him, to be honest. I can take a punch, and I'd do anything for these guys here."

This is the kind of leadership and team-first attitude that all NHL clubs love to have. Pastrnak sent a clear message to Tkachuk with this fight, and it should fire up the rest of the Bruins for Game 3. While this loss was tough, the series is still very young, and the Bruins have two games at home coming up.

Nevertheless, seeing how No. 88 and the Bruins perform against the Cats from here will be fun.
